Veterans Offer College Scholarship to Jewish High School Students
Jewish War Veterans Heritage Post 644 in St. Louis is offering a $1000 Chuck Sandroff scholarship to high school seniors graduating from an accredited program and planning to enter a college-level or vocational training program in the Fall. The student applying should be of the Jewish faith and should be related to a Jewish veteran of any branch of the military, at any time. The application should include a short essay about the reasons the student is seeking the award. It should include scholastic record, volunteering efforts in school and the community, and a short narrative about how the related veteran influenced the applicant’s life.
